Protostar is a card, and the most direct way of summoning a Star. If it can survive one opposing turn, it turns into a Star.

Statistics

Protostar is the simplest way to gain access to the powerful Star cards. However, as the Star summoned cannot be chosen, the player is relying significantly on chance, but as the Star Deck is physically ordered, Vriska cannot help here. The Protostar has 3 hearts and no attack.

Trivia

This card was created by Demonsul at the same time as the original set of Stars. This was so that the chance of Stars being used in games would be higher.
